Interest Groups

The Gadabouts visit different locales in Northern California once a month as a group. This picture shows a trip to the Rudoph Steiner College.

The four Book Sections are always open to new members.

• The Second Thursday afternoon group meets at 1:00 p.m. at the home of a member. Judi Wallgenbach is chair.
• The Second Thursday afternoon (formally evening) group will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the home of a member. Jan Bessette is chair.
• The "Who Dunits" group meets on the second Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Book Lover's Store at 5800 Madison Avenue. Contact Carol Hayes for information.
• The More-Than-Books meet at 8:15 a.m. on the third Wednesday each month for a walk in the park, followed by breakfast in a restaurant. After breakfast the group will meet at a home to discuss books. Call Mary Grossbeck for information.

Great Decisions meets twice a month beginning in February 2010 at the Fair Oaks Library Community Room . Contact Berry Melson, Esther Leal or VirginiaSturdevant if interested.

Movie Mavens will meet on the first Wednesday for a movie and refreshments. Contact Elaine Bemis for information.

Opera Live From the Met is a new group to study the operas that will be telecast live from the Met. If interested contact Marily Burnam.

Singles Dining Out group meets the last Tuesday. Marjo Norton is chair.
