Membership
Membership in AAUW provides many opportunities,such as:
- Develop leadership skills;
- Share opportunities for activism;
- Develop programs that support education and equity for women and girls;
- Network with women of diverse backgrounds, cultures, perspectives,
and professions;
- Enjoy the camaraderie of educated women.
Individuals eligible to be admitted to membership are those holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate
or higher degree from a qualified educational institution, a degree from a foreign institution recognized by the International
Federation of University Women or a foreign degree aceptable as a basis for admission by graduate schools at qualified universities of the
U.S.A. and who have paid Association, state and local dues by July 1 annually.

Many levels of membership are available.
- Member-at-large: pays national dues of $49 a year. Is not affliated
with state or branch organizations; receives national publication only.
- Full membership: pays national, state and branch dues of $49, $16 and $15
for a total of $80. Will receive the three publications.
- Student Affiliate: pays $17 until graduation. Does not belong
to state or branch organizations.
- National Life Member: pays a one-time fee for national dues.
